From there, I was quickly diagnosed with depression and got meds for that, which are a HUGE HUGE HUGE life saver for me btw. I cannot overstate the positive and healing effect that antidepressants have had on my life in the recent years
And yeah, after a few months of being in treatment for depression I learned more about ADHD and asked my therapist if I might have that and he just went "yeah, absolutely"
From that point, we started with the lowest dose available and I INSTANTLY felt how the pressure lifted from me and how I legit started feeling like a normal human being
